A versatile all-mountain ski, the Atomic Maven 93 C is a responsive and lively ski that shines in soft snow, yet is grippy and powerful enough for on piste performance. Thanks to generous tip rocker and a forgiving progressive flex, the Maven 93 C has a nice light feel underfoot and is quick to respond on both hard snow and in soft. The power of carbon provides energy out of the turn for a smooth and poppy feel.

Why we like it:

The versatility of the Maven 93 C makes it a favorite around here, and we love that it’s super responsive yet nice and light underfoot.

Who it's for:

The Maven 93 C is an appealing option to a broad range of skiers, as it has an accessible, intuitive feel for Intermediate skiers, but provides enough power and performance to satisfy advanced skiers. It’s a fantastic option for advancing intermediates looking for a ski that will grow with them as they hone their skills.

Highlights:

Atomic taps into the stability of Poplar wood in their OMatic wood core, which is the foundation of the Maven 93 C’s construction. The smooth feel of Poplar is bolstered by the addition of a layer of carbon that runs down the center of the ski, called Carbon Backbone, which not only gives the 93 C its lively and energetic feel, but also adds torsional stiffness for improved grip and power. HRZN Tech in the tip keep the ski quite surfy and maneuverable in soft snow, and a more subtle rocker profile in the tail gives great energy and power out of the turn.

Things to consider:

The Maven 93 C is a directional all-mountain ski, so super creative freeride skiers looking for something with a ton of park or freeride influence will prefer a ski with more multi-directional capabilities. Those who spend their time seeking out the deepest of stashes would benefit from a wider ski like the Maven 103 CTi.

Fit & sizing considerations:

There’s quite a lot of rocker in the tips of the Maven 93 C, so sizing up won’t inhibit maneuverability for more advanced skiers. Intermediate skiers would do well to stay true to their normal size to get the most out of this ski.
